Since Mary Portas highlighted the plight of the British high street in her channel 4 TV program many shoppers are trying to seek out and support local business whether it be for fruit and veg or hand crafted items. As a small independent retailer we know we need to stand out from the crowd and offer something different from the larger high street chain stores, we know that a personal touch means a lot to our customers.
There are now more independent shops in Bideford the North Devon town we are situated in which gives shoppers a great shopping experience and makes our little town stand out from other chain dominated locations. Some of the large chain stores have pulled out of the town leaving larger units empty however, local people are now creating new independent businesses in those spaces which are giving the town a new lease of life and encouraging more people to keep it local!
Here at Just Trio we have some exclusive brands that you find in some of the large well known department stores such as Harrods , Selfridges, Debenhams and John Lewis. These British brands have had recognition in the media for there quality and embodying 'the best of British!'
